Welcome Tomas Maestre Marina

The large, modern and sheltered marina of Tomás Maestre is located at the quieter northern end of the very tourist-orientated La Manga. Yachts enter the harbour through a dredged channel connecting the Mar Menor with the Mediterranean (see Cruising Guide at end of this section), making this port the link between the two ‘seas’. The channel has a centre depth of 4m which is well marked with buoys and poles, and is crossed by a swing bridge (height 7m) which is open for 15 mins every two hours from 08.00 to 22.00. From 22.00 to 08.00 it is closed except in emergencies. The waiting quay is opposite the fuel station immediately on entering. A full range of services is available from this marina, including repairs, chandlers, car hire, restaurants, bars, shops, etc. On the other side of the yacht basin is a large boatyard with hangars where private companies offer haulout and yacht services. The yacht club El Estacio, established two years ago, has its clubhouse near the waiting quay.
