This very sheltered fishing and commercial harbour also has a yacht club with a small number of berths. In addition to berths o the pontoons, space may also be available on the Muelle de Poniente, south of the Club, where yachts to 60mtrs can be accommodated. In a strong E wind, it may be possible to lie alongside the Muelle Commercial for protection. The clubhouse offers all the usual services, plus a swimming pool. In the village nearby approximately 10Om away there is a supermarket but for other requirements, the town of Motril offers a greater selection of goods and services. There is a frequent bus service into town. Large amounts of sugar al avocados are shipped from this port.
