Puerto Sherry Marina 

Has excellent amenities for yachtsmen and offers a good safe location from the area's high winds. The entrance can be seen from afar, owing to the large white sculpted windbreaks near the port entrance. When approaching from the north-west or from Rota, head south- east along Canal del Norte, until Punta Santa Catalina is abeam to port. The control tower which houses the offices should come into view at the end of the marina breakwater. The waiting quay is next to this tower.

Puerto Sherry is a spacious facility with residential and commercial development, a hotel, and many nautically- related businesses. At present there are 902 berths, with 20% reserved for visitors although they are never all occupied. The attractive town of El Puerto de Santa Maria is about 3km away and is worth visiting, particularly as it offers an excellent choice Of restaurants specialising in fish and shell- dishes.
