Marina Port de Mallorca is situated on the Paseo Maritimo, halfway between the Real Club Náutico and the Club de Mar. A 10m wide quay leads from the Paseo Marítimo to a 7m wide outer wall which uses the "Jarlan" wavebreaker system, very effective in reducing the force of the waves and thus ensuring the craft inside the marina do not suffer the wash of boats entering and leaving the commercial port.

The marina's well-thought-out design includes unusual litter bins that have been designed to look like traditional ships' air vents. The marina is very secure, with video cam- eras, security guards, surveillance and computerized access control. It is situated within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions in the city of Palma and is just a bus ride away from Mallorca's water parks and Marineland.
