Club Nautico Campello Marina - Marina Berths / Moorings
Welcome Club Nautico Campello MarinaFormerly a simple fishing port with a small but very enterprising yacht club, a major modernisation project gave a new club- house with an excellent restaurant and a total of 474 berths to 15m, 69 of which are for up to 12m. The spacious modern facilities include covered dry storage accommodation for 180 boats up to 8m. Visiting yachts are welcome and prices for short- term berthing are competitive. Although protection inside the harbour is good, there may be a swell in strong winds from the SE/S/SW. There is an official Volvo Penta service in the port. The town of El Campello, within walking distance, is steeped in history. On the lleta dels Banyets there is an important archaeological site dating back 3,500 years, where two temples are to be found, one dedicated to the Sea God and the other to the Goddess of Fertility. Also on this lleta is a well-preserved watch tower, dating from 1554. The Casa de la Cultura, with its large auditorium and open-air amphitheatre, is well worth visiting.
