Located at the mouth of the Segura river, this is one of the newest ports in the Valencia region and has an excellent range of services which are to be further extended when the installations are complete. Access is via the last 500 metres of the new course of the Segura River, with a width of 120 m and depth of 3 m, with the same depth inside the port. It has 495 berths to 15 m,

116 of them reserved for visitors, and all attendant services. The name comes from its beautiful setting of sand-dunes covered by pine trees, eucalyptus and palm trees, with wide, sandy beaches nearby. A stretch of nearly 2 km of the river course is navigable for small craft, making possible an infinite number of water sports: rowing, canoeing, dinghy sailing, etc.
