This yacht harbour is located in the upmarket residential development of Calafat, in the centre of Golfo de Sant Jordi in Ametlla de Mar. The entrance will be seen in the close approach and should not be confused with the more visible port of Ametlla de Mar, further south. There is a full service yard with a dry dock, travel lift and a large area of hardstanding for guardiennage. There are 3 bathrooms, laundry and a man-made beach attached to the port, which has 24h security.

Offices are in a hut next to the entrance and there are supermarkets, restaurants and sports areas in the residential development. Usually Calafat is well protected, but in SW winds there may be swell inside the harbour, but is generally a quiet and peaceful area.
