Marina de Vilamoura - Marina Berths / Moorings
Welcome Marina de Vilamoura Is the oldest and largest marina in Portugal and it is also of the best equipped. Situated in the centre of Algarve's southern shore close to Faro International airport, which is a 20 minute drive and Within 2-3 hours’ drive of Lisbon and Seville. Established on a Homan resort site and first opened in 1974, the marina is well sheltered and elegant. The Vilamoura resort has much to offer guests and residents alike. In addition to two glorious beaches, sports enthusiasts can choose from the five golf courses, shooting club, tennis centre, horse riding stable, bowling green, squash courts and gymnasiums. There is a casino and an archaeological site. Supporting its varied and deluxe accommodation, the resort has an ecumenical church, medical centre, chemists, fire and police stations, post office, an international school and a choice of banks. The port houses nearly 1000 yachts of all sizes. On arrival you should moor at the reception pontoon and proceed with check-in. Refuse containers sited on the quay are emptied daily. The yacht club "Club Náutico", a private social club for members, welcomes all boat owners and crews with free membership. The club has a comfortable saloon bar, a dining room, a reading lounge with two snooker tables, a cyber café and card and video rooms.
